This fantastic Sauvignon Blanc from the coastal district of Darling in South Africa delivers a ton of wine for the money, displaying precise, mouth-watering flavors of gooseberry, kaffir lime, passion fruit, and green herbs. A portion of the wine is aged in neutral oak barrels which gives the wine great body and attributes some nice creaminess to the mid-palate. Very bright and classy.
