This intensely vibrant, old vines bottling is grown in the Southern part of Beaujolais where the soil is actually composed of limestone and clay, not the typical granite the region is famous for. Nevertheless, this wine provides a burst of freshly pressed raspberry juice and demonstrates a purity of fruit flavor that is immensely appealing. Wet leaves and earth on the nose add intrigue to this very pretty wine.
