Tasting Notes and Food Pairing Suggestions

  • Grilled burgers
  • Carne asada tacos with smoky poblano chiles
  • Fire-roasted eggplant dip with grilled pita

You'd be very hard-pressed to find another Syrah of this caliber and character at such an affordable price point. It's almost laughable! Smoky and peppery, this bottling hails from the remote Elqui Valley, Chile's northernmost winemaking region, and is chock full of charred black cherry fruit, creme de cassis, leather, and tar. Ripe and rich with a distinctive grilled flavor that lends an element of rusticity to the wine.
