This amazing gem from the Loire Valley showcases two very obscure grape varieties: Menu Pineau and Romorantin. Nutty and voluptuous, this "vin naturel" is produced with minimal manipulation, using native yeasts and avoiding the use of sulphur completely (a preservative typically used in commercial winemaking). Alluring flavors of green fruit, white grapes, almonds, and hazelnuts linger on the palate and make for a truly unique drinking experience. Such a great find!
